Cancellation Policy

Summary (1-Day Tours) Day tours are paid in full at the time of booking. Free cancelation 7 days before the tour. Cancellations made between 7 days and 72 hours before the tour incur a 30% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours to 24 hours incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows are charged 100% of the tour price. If VIP Tours Nicaragua cancels the tour, clients may reschedule or receive a refund for services not provided. VIP Tours Nicaragua – 1-Day Tour Booking & Cancellation Policy Tour Overview VIP Tours Nicaragua offers private and small-group one-day tours in and around San Juan del Sur. Tours are provided as single-day travel services and include transportation and guiding services as confirmed at booking. Reservations & Payment Terms To book a day tour, clients must provide the preferred date, number of guests, and selected tour. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure availability. All payments are subject to the cancellation policy below. Included Services Day tours generally include private ground transportation, pick-up from accommodation in San Juan del Sur, and the services of an English- or Russian-speaking guide. Meals, entrance fees, and optional activities are not included unless explicitly stated. Group Size Some tours require a minimum number of participants. If a minimum applies and is not met, clients will be offered an alternative date or a refund of amounts paid. Cancellation by the Client – Between 7 days and 72 hours before the tour start time: A 30% cancellation fee applies. – Less than 72 hours to 24 hours before the tour start time: A 50% cancellation fee applies. – No-show or failure to arrive without notice: A 100% cancellation fee applies. Where applicable, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Cancellation by VIP Tours Nicaragua If a tour must be canceled due to safety concerns, force majeure, or unforeseen circumstances, clients may reschedule the tour or receive a refund for services not provided. Client Responsibilities & Liability Clients are responsible for timely arrival and compliance with local laws and safety instructions. VIP Tours Nicaragua is not responsible for medical issues, personal property loss, or events outside its direct control. Travel insurance is recommended.
